V****** Product Manager (Korean Bilingual)

[About Our Client]

Our Client is a Global leading Chemical Manufacturer, specializes in Building & Interior materials, Automotive materials and Industrial Film backed by approx 4,270 employees across the world.

[Job Summary]

Manage overall V****** business throughout the product lifecycle. Responsible for price and profit. Develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight.

[Job Description]

- Define V****** product strategy and roadmap

- Analyzing sales history, market trends, costs, and expenses to make strategic decisions to meet the company goal

- Actively communicate and collaborate with Sales, Production, Marketing, and other relevant departments to develop and align product strategies.

- Develop and execute OEM strategies aligned with business objectives

- Collaborate with Product Planning, Quality, Logistics, Purchasing, and SCM teams to effectively manage OEM operations

- Identify and onboard new vendors as required by market and business needs, and manage OEM product development and launch activities

- Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, reviewing production and sales costs, anticipating volume, and costing special and customized orders.

- Approve and monitor project pricing based on segment, competitive information, color, volume, and customers, while evaluating projects to ensure operating profit

- Establish pricing for new products and adjust pricing for existing products as needed, ensuring pricing updates are properly maintained within internal systems and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

- End-to-end product management considering the 4Ps of marketing

- Manage production certifications, specifications, test results and technical information

- Other duties and/or projects assigned by company

Requirements

Qualifications: Listed below are the minimum and/or desired qualifications of the position including education, work experience and knowledge & skills that are required to perform satisfactorily in the position:

Education and Work Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing; MBA preferred

- Experience in product management preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

- Bilingual in Korean & English required

- Relevant product knowledge in depth

- Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments

- Excellent oral and written, communication and organization skulls

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (excel, word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of organization

- Ability to work independently and complete individual projects with minimal supervision

- Willing to engage in constructive conflict

- Strong creative, analytical and interpersonal skills

- Identifying and presenting innovative and creative product solutions

Physical Demands:

- Position requires regular interaction with customers and clients.

- Position requires sitting at a desk working on a computer for at least 2/3 of time.

- Position requires minimal lifting up to 30 lbs.

- Position requires regular and reliable attendance.

- Position requires travel up to 10_% of time, including overnight travel in the territory.
