Job description

FocusKPI is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant/ Operations Assistant to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company. 
The Operations Assistant is responsible for operational support to the client's ventures team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or an individual with 1 to 4 years of experience who is organized, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to work with data and AI tools. The candidate must have business-level fluency in both English and Korean due to the global nature of the work. Occasional evening, early morning, and weekend work may be required.
Work Location: Mountain View, CA (Onsite role, 5 days/week onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract with potential to extend the contract depending on your performance & budget
Pay Range: $20 - 25/hr
 

Responsibilities:

Operations Support: 

  • Provide administrative support to venture senior staff, including managing travel and calendaring
  • Expense management 
  • Office coordination, including ordering supplies and snacks for the office 
  • Translate routine internal communications, memos, and non-critical business documents from Korean to English or English to Korean as needed.
  • Social media support
  • Events and marketing support 

Venture Operations Administration: 

  • Assists in quality assurance of the venture operations databases, helping to input and verify data for venture operations, finance/reporting numbers, and collaborations (POC, BD, etc.) via Affinity and other tools. Responsible for data quality control
  • Support the Venture Operations team in managing, analyzing, and streamlining data for accurate reporting
  • Prepare data and supporting materials for monthly reports and special projects
  • Presentation development in both Korean and English 

Qualifications:
  • Spoken and written fluency in Korean and English required.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in an operational or analytical role, or a recent graduate with relevant internships.
  • Strong administrative skills - highly organized and detail-oriented. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets. Must have an existing record of maintaining large datasets. 
  • Familiarity with or keen interest in utilizing AI productivity tools.
  • Comfortable working across multiple time zones.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a track record of reliability and diligence.
  • Ability to manage tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
  • Deep curiosity about startups, emerging technologies, and global innovation trends.
  • Familiarity with any Korean-owned, large multinational corporations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Affinity and AirTable is a plus.
