Salary - $56,000-$85,000 DOE
Korean/English Bilingual REQUIRED
This is a full-time position as a Manufacturing Systems (MES) Engineer. Under the general supervision of the IT Director/Manager, this role provides technical support for administrative computing systems including MS/Oracle SQL, Windows Server Systems, IT infrastructure, and reporting to multicultural groups in English and Korean. The specialist will also develop expertise in manufacturing systems while delivering the technical assistance described.
Job Description
• Prepare reports for various groups in English and Korean, including supporting documentation through SQL queries and system-generated reports.
• Support project teams by conducting systems analysis and providing coordination for major system implementations.
• Provide clear and professional verbal, written, and electronic communication with IT members, vendors, multicultural groups, and end users. This includes preparing routine status reports, procedural guides, technical advice, and recommendations.
• Ensure maximum performance, stability, and reliability by monitoring and tuning enterprise systems daily.
• Provide hardware (IT/Manufacturing) and software recommendations by gathering requirements, analyzing existing systems, researching vendor specifications, and presenting findings to the IT team.
• Provide training and technical support to end users on new and existing global systems.
• Collaborate with Automation (PLC Control Engineers) to troubleshoot and improve integration between manufacturing systems and related equipment.
• Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner through DB access and in-house interface programs connected to manufacturing equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong troubleshooting skills and methodology
• Broad knowledge of servers and operating systems
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
• Broad knowledge of MES systems
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certification
• Proficiency in MS Office and other standard software
• Understanding of Active Directory and Windows system infrastructure
Korean/English Bilingual REQUIRED
