Job Overview

We are a stable, family-owned local/OTR trucking company located in Davis County Utah looking for a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee safety, drivers, fleet operations, and DOT compliance. This role is hands-on and fast-paced-ideal for someone who thrives on coordination, accountability, and variety in their day.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coordinate, and dispatch a fleet of drivers and trucks
  • Oversee daily dispatching, scheduling, and load coordination
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and safety standards
  • Manage driver qualifications including licensing, medical cards, training, and certifications
  • Maintain accurate driver files, logs, inspections, and compliance records
  • Monitor fleet safety, performance, and maintenance coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding schedules, routes, and compliance
  • Stay current on transportation regulations and ensure company-wide adherence

Qualifications:

  • Min 5 years' experience in fleet management, dispatching, and transportation operations (construction experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of DOT compliance and driver regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with drivers and leadership
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver
  • Valid driver's license required – CDL Preferred
