Job Description Summary
The Network Administrator is responsible for the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of the company's regional network infrastructure and connectivity to datacenters, cloud environments and branch offices.
This role provides technical expertise for regional network services, collaborates closely with global network teams, hosting partners, and managed service providers (MSPs), and ensures alignment with global standards and architectures.
The position combines hands-on engineering, operational excellence, and process improvement with a strong focus on efficiency, knowledge sharing, and enhancing the regional IT footprint
What You'll Do:
Network Operations & Administration
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain regional LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Manage and support network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, access points)
  • Support and maintain VPN and remote access solutions.
  • Execute network changes and configuration adjustments following ITIL change management processes
  • Ensure network connectivity between regional offices, datacenters, and cloud environments
  • Collaborate closely with hosting partners, telecom providers, and MSPs for escalations, maintenance, and improvement initiatives
  • Maintain and update the network CMDB and asset documentation.
  • Analyze and optimize network performance, bandwidth utilization, and cost efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement in service quality and optimize the regional network footprint in alignment with global strategy

Security & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain network security configurations (ACLs, VLANs, firewalls, segmentation)
  • Support compliance, audit, and risk management activities in cooperation with global IT Security
  • Monitor for security incidents, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access using established tools and processes.

Knowledge Management, Documentation and Support
  • Create and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Provide training and guidance to 1st-level and regional IT teams to improve first-contact resolution and reduce escalation volume
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles and ensure up-to-date documentation in ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM systems
  • Promote knowledge sharing, collaboration, and process alignment across regional and global IT teams
  • Handle network incidents, problems, and changes according to ITIL-based processes.
  • Serve as 2nd/3rd-level escalation point for complex network issues.

Project & Collaboration
  • Participate in network infrastructure projects, upgrades, or expansion initiatives (e.g., SD-WAN rollouts, Wi-Fi refresh, MPLS migration)
  • Collaborate with the Global Network Team, IT Platform Manager, and external providers to ensure service alignment and project delivery
  • Provide technical input for architecture design, capacity planning, and vendor selection.
  • Support regional infrastructure consolidation to improve operational efficiency.

Other
  • Attends meetings as required and/or assigned.
  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned
  • On call - will be required to work flexible hours to provide back-up and emergency support; it is important to provide wrap-around service in order to keep all systems functional.

What We're Looking For:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Solid understanding of LAN/WAN architectures, VLANs, routing, and switching (L2/L3)
  • Experience with wireless network administration
  • Strong knowledge of firewall administration, VPN, and remote access technologies.
  • Familiarity with SD-WAN, load balancing, and cloud networking
  • Experience with monitoring and management tools
  • Scripting/automation skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Ability to collaborate with external partners (MSPs, vendors) and internal stakeholders
  • Commitment to efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
  • Capability to train, coach, and enable 1st-level and regional support teams.
  • Structured, process-oriented, and service-driven mindset
  • Familiarity with global IT environments and cross-regional collaboration

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
  • Some college education focusing on Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years' professional experience in enterprise or regional network operations and engineering required
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred

Total Rewards Package:
Compensation
  • Base: $91,000 - $113,000 annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
