Job Summary

Pay: $22-23 hourly

Schedule: M-F 7am to 3:30pm 


We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Carson, CA location. The ideal candidate will support daily warehouse and logistics operations by delivering responsive, value-added customer service and ensuring all customer requests are handled accurately and efficiently.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and has strong organizational and communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries in a courteous, professional, and timely manner
  • Verify shipment information including counts, weights, measurements, and identifying details against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and shipping documents
  • Prepare and generate special shipping labels as needed
  • Process Dock Receipts for incoming shipments and communicate exceptions to customers
  • Answer customer questions regarding inventory and freight availability
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the WMS system
  • Coordinate shipping methods based on customer requests
  • Provide customer support to drivers regarding merchandise pickup and delivery
  • Process receiving and shipping documentation
  • Perform accurate data entry using Excel spreadsheets and internal systems
  • Prepare customer invoices for services rendered

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of CSR experience in Distribution, Warehousing, Logistics, or 3PL environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Experience with compliance accounts such as Walmart, Sears/Kmart, or Dollar Tree is helpful but not required

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with retailer routing and compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with shipping procedures and routing guidelines for major retailers such as Target Corporation, Walmart, Lowe's, and The Home Depot
  • Understanding of retailer appointment scheduling, labeling, routing requests, and vendor compliance processes
  • Experience coordinating shipments to retailer distribution centers is highly preferred
