Job description

Description:

The primary function of this position is to ensure that stock unit shipments are properly packaged and loaded/unloaded in order to complete shipping on-time in a safe, orderly manner. It is the expectation that this position be flexible to assist in other warehouse duties when needed.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Ship units to customers (manage/organize DC transfers, stock orders.)
  • Organize all printed orders from sales department that require shipping 
  • Double check orders to ensure accuracy
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary with forklift and by hand
  • Process all orders in Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Communicate backorders to warehouse lead or supervisor as necessary
  • Perform daily cycle count on components and log into inventory management system.
  • Enter daily Inventory.
  • Tag purchased units.
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse space.
  • Other tasks as directed. 
  • Works with warehouse staff to pull, pick and ship or deliver orders to customers in an efficient and accurate manner. 
  • Assist daily with general warehouse duties, such as stocking shelves, kitting, and general cleanliness of warehouse. 



Requirements:

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Demonstrated focus on customer service and team building
  • Two years of warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge and Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to operate a Forklift 
  • Basic computer skills including shipping software and MS Office
  • Able to work independently.
