About the Role:

We're seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team and help deliver high-quality, nutritious meals to our residents. In this role, you'll prepare and serve food in accordance with approved menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines, ensuring delicious and safe dining experiences for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain timely meal service and ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Review daily menus and event calendars to confirm necessary ingredients and supplies
  • Prepare meals that are nutritious, visually appealing, and consistent with residents' dietary needs
  • Follow standardized recipes and make substitutions only when authorized
  • Serve food using proper portion control methods
  • Assist with preparing special meals for events and celebrations
  • Accurately estimate portions and manage leftovers to minimize waste and control food costs
  • Adhere to state and county regulations regarding sanitation, food safety, storage, recordkeeping, and chemical handling
