Kitchen Manager

Parker John’s BBQ & Pizza | Wausau, WI

Parker John’s BBQ & Pizza is seeking an experienced, hands-on Kitchen Manager to join our Wausau leadership team.

We are a growing, family-owned Wisconsin restaurant company with six locations and a culture built around teamwork, accountability, hospitality, and developing great people. Our managers are treated as an important part of the Parker John’s family and are given opportunities to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and develop kitchen team members
  • Run organized, high-volume kitchen shifts
  • Manage scheduling, ordering, and inventory
  • Control food costs, labor costs, and waste
  • Maintain food quality, safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • Work alongside the team and support daily kitchen operations
  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team

Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen management experience required
  • One to two years of leadership experience preferred
  • Experience with scheduling, ordering, inventory, and cost controls
  • Strong communication, organization, and coaching skills
  • Catering or banquet experience is helpful but not required
  • Ability to work on your feet for most of the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Compensation

  • $55,000 - $60,000 Base Salary
  • $6,000 KPI Bonus Maxout 
  • $1,000 Retention Bonus
  • Total yearly compensation could be up to $62,000 - $67,000 if all KPI's are achieved!
