We are a fun brew pub seeking a talented, responsible, results-oriented Kitchen Manager with exceptional culinary and management skills to work with our General Manager to provide superior cuisine to our guests prepared by a team of well-trained kitchen professionals.  We are a small company and are looking for a candidate that looks forward to being part of our family, and has a vested interest in the companies success.
As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for food preparation, inventory and labor control, hiring, training, and overall leadership of the back of the house staff.
You will be responsible for ensuring that every dish is prepared consistently, in a timely manner, and meet our high level of expectations. Additionally, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Responsibilities
Hiring and training of kitchen team members
Reviewing and evaluating all kitchen team members
Responsible for cost control and labor control
Developing menu items
Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen
Ensure proper food safety measures
Ensuring upkeep and maintenance of all kitchen equipment
Job Requirements
As Kitchen Manager, you must be dependable, self-reliant, and passionate about good food and exceptional customer service. It is vital that you combine strong organizational and prioritization skills with professional dedication and a team-oriented attitude. The ability to provide guests with that extra personal touch is also a very important aspect of this role. Specific qualifications for the position include:
High school diploma or GED
3 years minimum as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Executive Sous Chef
2-year culinary degree, a plus
Food Safety Manager Certification required
Bilingual in Spanish, a plus
Salary will depend on experience, with potential bonus opportunities.
