Kitchen Manager Assistant Managers are professionals who support the kitchen manager in overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant or food service kitchen. Their responsibilities typically include supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and quality standards are met, managing inventory and supplies, and assisting with scheduling and training. For over 50 years, Mom's Kitchen has been one of South Florida's favorite independent restaurants, serving exceptional breakfast and lunch with the recent addition of dinner service. As we continue to grow and prepare for future expansion, we're searching for an exceptional Assistant Kitchen Manager who is ready to train under our current leadership and develop into a Kitchen Manager role.

We're not simply filling a position—we're investing in someone who wants to grow with us.

Volume Matters Here

Mom's Kitchen isn't a slow neighborhood diner.

We serve hundreds of guests every day, with some of the busiest breakfast and lunch services in South Florida. Our kitchen must execute with speed, precision, and consistency while maintaining the quality our guests have trusted for more than five decades.

If you thrive in organized chaos, love the energy of a packed restaurant, and can lead a team through a high-volume rush without sacrificing standards, you'll fit right in.

What Success Looks Like

The right leader understands that consistency builds trust.

Every pancake should look like the last one.

Every omelet should be cooked the same way.

Every sauce, soup, gravy, and side should taste exactly as our guests remember it.

Recipes are our standard—not suggestions.

Preparation, organization, and execution are what separate good kitchens from great ones.
