Kitchen Guard Services started in 2009 as a cold water, kitchen, and bar cleaning service. With a strong commitment to quality service and fire safety, we've built a reputation for excellence in our industry. Kitchen Guard Services is one of the largest kitchen exhaust and deep cleaning providers in California.Job Overview:As a full time Night Shift Kitchen Cleaning Technician at our Capital Heights, MD location, you'll be at the heart of our operations. Please do not apply if you plan on working a day job in addition to this position. This job often requires overtime and mental focus which cannot be achieved with working a day shift in addition to a night shiftResponsibilities include:
  • Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans.
  • Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment.
  • Performing tasks independently without direct supervision.
  • Be professional in all activities (showing up on time, making customer driven decisions while on the job site, providing great feedback to team and management)
  • Maintain and manage equipment, and report any discrepancies.
  • Ability to work on minor repairs
  • Opportunities to become a foreman and be the lead technician in a two man team and eventually lead multiple crews.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
  • Conduct service quality inspections
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness.
  • Problem-solving on-site challenges and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure good customer service
  • Work 40 - 50 hours a week - this is a full time position

Physical Requirements:
  • Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
  • Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
  • Able to stand for 9-10 hours at a time.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
