How You'll Make a Difference

As General Manager, you will:

  • Own the overall operational, financial, and performance results of the CSC
  • Develop and execute the annual business plan and budget in alignment with regional strategy
  • Lead short‑ and mid‑term production planning to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery of food products and services
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, cost, and service
  • Ensure optimal deployment of people, equipment, materials, and capital resources
  • Maintain full compliance with FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP regulations
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and engagement
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a diverse workforce, including unionized teams where applicable
  • Partner closely with Sales, Culinary, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders
  • Initiate and manage capital projects to support growth and operational excellence
  • Ensure all customer contracts, company standards, and delivery commitments are consistently met
What We’re Looking For in a Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operational experience
  • 10+ years of progressive operations or manufacturing leadership experience
  • Proven success leading large, multi‑department operations
  • Experience in food manufacturing, processing, or regulated environments strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Strong financial acumen and budget ownership experience
  • Ability to lead through complexity, change, and high operational pressure
  • Demonstrated success building strong teams, managing labor relations, and engaging union workforces
  • Excellent communication, decision‑making, and leadership presence
  • Track record of exceeding corporate expectations and driving performance improvement
