Job description

Kindle Unlimited (KU) brings the advantages of subscriptions to the world of digital reading. With millions of Kindle books and thousands of Audiobooks, magazines, and comics available to subscribers, Kindle Unlimited has something to offer for almost every reader. On KU's WW Selection team, we're responsible for acquiring the best possible content for KU subscribers at the best possible cost.
We are seeking a product leader to own the long-term vision and strategy for KU content acquisition. In the near term, this will include partnering with data science and finance teams to develop and operationalize a science-based approach to content valuation, as well as defining and implementing our north star vision for vendor manager enablement and automation.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong product management track record, a high degree of comfort with data science and finance concepts, and the ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders across the globe.

- Partner with with science and finance teams to develop practical, science-based solutions to improve the quality and speed of our investment decisions
- Serve as the voice of the "customer" for Books vendor managers across the globe that negotiate KU deals
- Define a VM enablement and automation north star vision and product requirements
- Influence product roadmaps across partner tech, science and finance teams to build to requirements
- Drive and measure user adoption of your products via effective change management
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience partnering with data scientists to develop science-based approaches to business decision making
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
