Job description

Kibo Property Management is looking for an experienced Painter to join our maintenance team in Crossville. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays on schedule, and enjoys being part of a team that keeps our community looking its best.


Job Summary

The Painter is responsible for painting interior and exterior areas of the property. This includes preparing surfaces, painting vacant units, assisting with scheduling make-ready units, and maintaining painting supplies and equipment.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Paint interior spaces of vacant apartment units and other designated areas.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and taping as needed.
  • Maintain painting tools, equipment, and inventory.
  • Assist with light maintenance and cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional painting experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage time and complete tasks independently.

Physical demands

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
