Job description

Kibo Property Management is seeking a Painter to join our maintenance team in Crossville, TN. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, can stay on task, and enjoys being part of a team that helps keep our apartment communities looking their best.

Job Summary

The Painter is responsible for completing interior and exterior painting projects throughout the property. This includes preparing surfaces, painting vacant apartment homes and common areas, assisting with make-ready work, and helping maintain painting supplies, tools, and equipment.


Duties and Responsibilities

Paint interior spaces in vacant apartment homes and other assigned areas.

Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, taping, and other prep work as needed.

Maintain painting tools, equipment, and supply inventory.

Assist with light maintenance, cleaning, and make-ready tasks as assigned.

Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.

Complete assigned work in a timely and efficient manner.


Qualifications

At least 1 year of painting experience preferred.

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Dependable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.


Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to climb stairs and ladders.

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.

Additional Requirements

Driver's license preferred.


Employment is contingent upon completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements.

Fair Housing certification is required within the first 30 days of employment. Training will be provided by the employer.
