General Summary
Under the direction of Digital Technology Management, the Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the daily operations of Kia America business-to-business (B2B) enterprise systems including employee, dealer and consumer facing systems. Solves business problems by analyzing requirements; designing computer programs; recommending system controls and protocols.
The Business Systems Analyst works closely with various business units and IT service providers to devise optimal solutions for various short-term and long-term enhancements, bug fixes, implement changes, and functional requirements to technical specifications. This position will also provide valuable insights for optimizing user experiences, leveraging best enterprise system practices, creating program governance, and guiding stakeholders through program innovation strategy, risk analysis, and systems integration.
This position provides operational and functional administration of the enterprise systems to leverage efficiencies between systems and processes to support the evolving business needs of Kia America (KUS) and retailer network. This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of business requirements, solution scope, testing, training, business support, key performance indicators and data analysis for continuous process improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Priority 1 - 30%
Support B2B enterprise systems and projects in support of company's short-term and long-term business strategy. Works with key business and IT stakeholders in implementing systems solutions and integrating best practices into technology platform. Ensures overall health of the enterprise system to best support business priorities, internal and external stakeholders, and provides Level 2 systems support.
Priority 2 - 25%
Perform business requirements analysis within the context of internal and external facing systems and content management systems; Assists in the development of best practices to improve business processes, system solutions, business intelligence, workflow and process flow diagrams.
Priority 3 - 25%
Defines project requirements and support business users throughout the project life cycle including scope definition, design review and User Acceptance Testing. Monitors project progress, resolve project issues, publish progress reports and recommending actions to remediate risks.
Priority 4 - 20%
Oversee the life cycle of changes to business systems and maintain detailed documentation. Performs adhoc data analysis and create reports for business users.
PERSONALLY PERFORMED DUTIES
  • Performs business analysis and document requirements, process flows and solution recommendations.
  • Supports project implementation from business side and assists business stakeholders throughout project life cycle.
  • Collaborates with business, affiliates and external vendors in implementing IT solutions.
  • Effectively communicates with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Support and collaborate with business and external vendors on enterprise IT initiatives in improving the Kia team members' experience.
  • Support the business and external vendors in the documentation, analysis and configuration of user support systems.
  • Support reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Test system features and functionality and support business in performing UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

Qualifications/Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Experience in supporting internal stakeholders and business processes is required.
Job Requirement
  • Advanced degree and/or certification(s) is preferred in Business Analysis, Project Management, Information Technology or Digital Transformation
  • 5 years of Business Systems Analysis experience required.
  • Prior experience in supporting and collaborating with the business users and external vendors on implementing IT projects.
  • Exposure to Project Life Cycle Management and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Familiar with service management tools such as ServiceNow and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, SharePoint.
  • Working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is strongly preferred.

Other:
  • Must be proactive, self-motivated, and lead team to multiple concurrent solutions.
  • Prior experience in vendor management and billing management beneficial.
  • Familiar with O365 environment: (Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, etc.)
  • Knowledge of new hire onboarding processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range
$77,105.26 - $100,226.82
Pay will be based on several variables that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, etc.
