Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Principal FS Angular React Java AWS.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions across front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure
* Architect and optimize AWS-based cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency
* Develop high-quality, maintainable code using modern frameworks and languages (React, Angular, Node.js, Java, Python, etc.)
* Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver robust and user-friendly applications
* Mentor and guide engineering teams, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and architecture
* Ensure compliance with security standards and implement monitoring and observability solutions
* Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 8+ years of experience in full stack development, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role
* Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Java, Python)
* Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation)
* Experience working with relational database technologies (Postgres/Oracle)
* Knowledge of mock frameworks and service virtualization preferred
* Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Proven understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
* High levels of engagement at the team and group levels; Desire to learn and impact outside your primary tasking
* Ability to communicate optimally with both technical and business stakeholders
* Experience in designing, implementing, or maintaining systems that support Term Life Insurance operations such as policy administration, underwriting and claims processing is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
