Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing technology company, is seeking an Azure Cloud Operations Manager to lead cloud infrastructure and engineering operations in Chandler, AZ (Hybrid Remote). Candidates must currently reside in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.
Summary:
We are working directly with the hiring manager on this exclusive search. This role will be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure cloud services while driving cloud governance, automation, operational excellence, and modernization initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead cloud governance efforts related to architecture, security, compliance, and operational priorities
* Manage Azure infrastructure, including networking, connectivity, RBAC, DNS, firewalls, and platform administration
* Develop and maintain cloud monitoring, observability, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) standards
* Establish cloud security, disaster recovery, business continuity, and data protection practices
* Manage code repositories, cloud standards, documentation, and operational runbooks
* Partner with technical and business stakeholders to drive cloud modernization and continuous improvement initiatives
* Lead, mentor, and develop cloud and infrastructure team members
* Manage team performance, service delivery, budgets, resources, and strategic technology initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; Equivalent work experience will be considered
* At least 6-8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, and systems engineering, or related IT disciplines
* Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
* Experience managing enterprise-scale cloud environments and access controls
* Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, governance, monitoring, and automation
Preferred:
* 1-2+ years of leadership or people management experience
* Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
* Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
