Job description

  • Lead the end-to-end design lifecycle for premium eyewear collections
  • Act as the creative and technical bridge between global brand licensors and manufacturing teams
  • Collaborate closely with the North American division and European Headquarters
  • Develop highly resolved sketchbooks in Illustrator
  • Create fully detailed technical drawings, including section drawings, exploded views, and prototyping notes
  • Use Rhinoceros and Keyshot to create hyper-realistic 3D models and renderings for executive licensor presentations
  • Partner with product development teams to research proprietary construction details, innovative hardware, and advanced production techniques
  • Analyze domestic and competitive fashion markets to identify new product opportunities while maintaining core brand integrity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of commercial design experience within luxury accessories, specialty retail, or product distribution
  • Eyewear experience highly preferred; jewelry, watches, or precision hardware accepted
  • Expert-level mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Expert-level mastery of Rhino or equivalent 3D CAD
  • Expert-level mastery of Keyshot
  • Direct experience reviewing CAD assets and physical factory prototypes
  • Ability to ensure accurate manufacturing translation
