The Key Account Manager will drive profitable growth by expanding market share through new business development and increasing wallet share within existing key accounts. They will execute a strategic account management approach by promoting Alkegen's industrial insulation solutions, delivering value-driven proposals, and leading cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer satisfaction. The Key Account Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to customers through technical engagement, training, and market insight, whileidentifyingcompetitive trends and driving continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Target accounts by present and potential sales revenues/EBITDA, cost to sell and service, and probability of success.

  • Allocate time and call frequency based on account targeting.

  • Increase market share by calling on key accounts to promote Alkegen products, communicate special programs, present marketing/advertisingprograms,and new products, prepare and conduct training and educational seminars, collect competitive information,overseeand resolve problems and complaints, and collect overdue receivables.

  • Comfortable making presentations to large audiences.

  • Sell all products but concentrate on those contributing higher EBITDA.

  • Prepare written presentations,reports,and price quotations.

  • Continually learn new product knowledge andacquireimproved selling skills.

  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues,products,and markets for Alkegen products.

  • Attend andparticipatein sales meetings, productseminars,and trade shows.

  • Assistwith strategy development.

  • Maintain customer account plans and customer files.

  • Submit the followingin a timely manner: CRMopportunities, call reports, forecasts, activity reports, expense reports.

  • Communicate competitive information to corporate marketing.

  • Complete andsubmitcredit applications for new accounts.

  • Utilize IT to save time.

  • Analyzing/monitoringdata and reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in business or technical discipline.

  • Demonstrated salesexperiencesuccess selling ideas and/or products to both internal and externalcustomers,automotive market sales experience preferred.

  • Other backgrounds may include product development, product or marketing management, application engineering,project,or program management. Training in selling andnegotiationsskillsis preferred.

  • Background in Insulationand / construction projectspreferred. Motivated with strong ability to build relationships.

  • An understanding of pricing and ordering structures; product, technical and application data; competitive products and applications; blueprint reading; and industrial product knowledgeisrequired. Knowledge of industrial markets, i.e., petrochemical, aluminum, steel, ceramic, heat treating and other processes and markets we serveisdesirable for future growth within organization is a plus. PC literacy, including CRM, MicrosoftOffice,and Workday.

  • Comply withall company policies andoperatewithinexpensebudget.

  • Work with, develop positive relationships with, communicate with, and coordinate activities with employees in other functional areas.

  • Communicate effectively, cooperate with fellow salespeople and management.

  • SpanishLanguage Skills Highly Desirable

Compensation:

  • $105,821.00 - $132,276.00 annual
  • Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
