Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepares and collects renewal data
  • Communicates with existing clients to obtain updated information needed for the continuation of insurance coverage
  • Reviews information when received and submits to carriers for quoting
  • Reviews carrier quotes when received and prepares renewal proposals for Account Executives and/or Producers to present to the client
  • Responds to client inquiries, needs & concerns
  • Handling client telephone calls and emails from customers regarding questions about insurance coverage and limits
  • Escalating to Account Executive or Producer as necessary
  • Review limits for compliance and contact clients as needed to make adjustments
  • Provide clients with insurance documents they need including “certificates of insurance”
  • Submit change requests to carriers
  • Reviews and assists with duties performed by Administrative Assistants
  • Performs client/file maintenance (20%):
    • Check insurance policies against binders for coverage discrepancies
    • Work with legal for the filing for Surplus Lines taxes and documentation
    • Update Agency Management System to reflect current coverage information
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA)
  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 3-4 years of directly related work experience required
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Property & Casualty insurance license
