Senior Key Account Manager, Construction

Huntsman is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager, Construction supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in The Woodlands, TX or through a remote location. This position will report to the Commercial Director, Construction - Americas.

Job Scope
The Senior Key Account Manager, Construction is responsible for executing the Key Account Strategy across North America, managing strategic customer relationships, and driving business growth within key accounts. This role focuses on expanding market share, strengthening executive-level customer partnerships, and delivering profitable growth through strategic account management and cross-functional collaboration.

In summary, as the Senior Key Account Manager, Construction , you will:

  • Manage large, complex key accounts and expand market share and customer reach.
  • Build and maintain relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations, including executive leadership.
  • Facilitate interactions between key accounts and Huntsman's executive leadership team.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans.
  • Coordinate internal resources across a matrixed organization to support customer needs.
  • Manage CRM activities, including opportunity pipelines and call reporting.
  • Monitor competitive activity and market dynamics.
  • Leverage sales and pricing excellence strategies to improve business profitability.
  • Negotiate sustainable contracts and service agreements.
  • Act as a change agent supporting regional business initiatives and strategic programs.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 10+ years of account management experience.
  • 5+ years of key account leadership experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B selling.
  • Established relationships at the executive (C-suite) level.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Financial analysis experience and strong business acumen.
