Job description

We are currently looking for Fire Systems Field Service Technician.  The technician will be travelling domestically to Idaho/CA up to 50% of the time and up to 2 weeks at a time. The Technician is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled service/installation of various pieces of fire protection equipment.  The Field Technician must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.

Job Description: 
Responsibilities: 
• Install stainless steel high-pressure tubing and pipe fittings 
• Install flexible low-voltage conduit and perform wire terminations 
• Read and interpret schematics and technical documents 
• Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies 
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues 
• Perform preventive maintenance on fire suppression systems 
• Support system startup, commissioning, and decommissioning 
• Maintain OSHA and safety compliance 
Qualifications: 
• High School Diploma or GED 
• Valid driver’s license 
• 1+ year experience in fire suppression, low voltage, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred 
• Ability to read schematics and technical procedures 
• Understanding of low-voltage DC circuits 
• Experience with stainless tubing, pipe fitting, or mechanical assembly preferred 
• Strong safety mindset and reliable work history 
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
