About the role
Warehouse Specialist (Temporary-to-Hire)
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Job Description:
This position is currently being offered on a temporary basis with the potential to transition to a full-time role. The Warehouse Specialist, Deliveries is responsible for performing general warehouse duties as directed by the Operations Manager or Warehouse Lead, with a primary focus on delivering products to customers.
The ideal candidate can manage day-to-day warehouse operations, interact with our ERP system, and assist in other business areas as needed. This role includes making deliveries to customer sites that may require strict background clearance. The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in the movement, storage, and distribution of materials while adhering to all security protocols and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
The position requires the ability to operate company vehicles for deliveries and successfully pass background checks necessary to meet customer and government requirements.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
What you'll do
Delivery Operations (Primary)
  • Execute timely and secure deliveries to military bases, government entities, and other designated locations.
  • Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws, security protocols, and access requirements.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and routes to maximize efficiency.
  • Inspect delivered items for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
  • Follow all security procedures and collaborate with site personnel to ensure compliant access and delivery execution.

Warehouse Operations (Secondary, as Needed)
  • Prepare and process outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners for pickups and deliveries.
  • Generate and manage shipping documentation (labels, packing lists, bills of lading).
  • Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy prior to dispatch.
  • Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
  • Organize inventory for storage or immediate distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, tracking information, and related issues.

Organization and Safety
  • Operate company vehicles, including box trucks, safely and in accordance with all regulations.
  • Maintain required licenses, credentials, and a clean driving record.
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe for employees and visitors.
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required equipment.

Team Commitment and Collaboration
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate delivery and warehouse activities.
  • Support all warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, picking, loading/unloading, and deliveries.
  • Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed.
  • Follow established warehouse procedures and quality standards as directed by leadership.

Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong aptitude will be considered.
  • Ability to learn and work within an ERP system.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Adaptability and willingness to support various operational needs.
