Job description

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst plays a key role in global financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial modeling. This role partners closely with internal departments and international subsidiaries to deliver insights that inform business decisions and drive financial results, with an emphasis on the International Distributor channel.

Essential Functions

Description

  • Works with department leadership to plan, execute, and analyze the global forecasting process for International Distributors, including long-range plan, budget, forecasts, guidance, and monthly reporting.
  • Produce monthly management reporting packages, dashboards and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Researches and answers questions and recommends solutions to problems.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial statements, historical data, and market trends.
  • Partner across functions and global subsidiaries to assess financial impacts and inform decision-making.
  • Build and maintain financial models, analyses, and dashboards to support strategic initiatives and assessments.
  • Maintain the Adaptive Planning system, ensuring data accuracy, supporting reporting needs, and assisting users with system functionality and issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • MBA Certification preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years  of relevant experience in corporate finance, or related roles, preferably within multinational companies in the footwear, apparel or outdoor/equipment industries.

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong business acumen with solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across a global organization and interact with stakeholdersat all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex business and financial information and communicate insights clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Experience with SAP, Adaptive Planning, or similar financial systems strongly preferred.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data, automation, or artificial intelligence tools is a plus.
  • Experience  in a global consumer products or retail environment, including exposure to inventory, preferred.

Travel Required: Yes, up to 10% of the time.

Base Salary: $94,900 - $100,200

This range represents the low and high ends of this position's anticipated base salary range. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
