Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior KDB+ Developer to design, build, and maintain critical applications supporting regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes.
This role involves hands-on development, as well as participation in architecture, design, and analysis activities.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet strict regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications for regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Participate in architecture, design, and analysis of complex systems
  • Develop and support high-performance, scalable applications using KDB+ and related technologies
  • Implement and maintain deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Work within Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban for project delivery
  • Integrate applications using RESTful microservices and event-driven architectures
  • Ensure application reliability, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Utilize source control and version management for feature-driven development
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across systems

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in software development with expertise in KDB+, Java, and/or Python
  • Strong experience working in Linux environments with Bash scripting
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with REST microservices architecture
  • Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or other event streaming platforms
  • Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or React
  • Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Artifactory, API registries, or automated deployment tools
