Seeking experienced KDB+ professionals with (2–8+ years dedicated KDB+/q experience) to support the development, enhancement, administration, and maintenance of a large-scale KDB platform supporting global Capital Markets businesses across Fixed Income, FX, and Equities.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and support KDB+ applications and platform components.
• Design and optimize solutions for real-time and historical market data processing.
• Manage and support large-scale KDB environments handling petabyte-scale data and 500+ users.
• Integrate KDB+ with real-time messaging platforms such as Solace, Kafka, and ION.
• Implement DevOps, automation, monitoring, and platform reliability practices.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure platform stability and scalability.


Required Skills
KDB+ & q
• Strong experience in KDB+ development, administration, and production support.
• Deep understanding of:
o q language, data structures, and datatypes
o Array-oriented programming
o q-SQL and KDB-specific joins (asof, window joins)
o KDB database architecture, storage, and query optimization
o Inter-process communication
o Ticker plant, RDB, HDB, Gateway, and chained process architectures
Real-Time Data Platforms
