Are you looking to join a dedicated team in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian member to join our team on the beautiful island of Kauai.
-Location: Kauai (Lihue, HI 96766)
-Employment Type: Part-time
-Position: Custodian
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (9 hours per week)
-Hourly rate: $20.00 to $26.00
-Location: Kauai (Lihue, HI 96766)
-Employment Type: Part-time
-Position: Custodian
-Schedule: Saturday and Sunday: 2:00PM - 10:30PM (16 hours per week)
-Hourly rate: $17.00
-Location: Kauai (Koloa, HI)
-Employment Type: Full-time
-Position: Custodian
-Schedule: Saturday, and Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday and Wednesday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
-Hourly rate: $17.50
-Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and dusting throughout the shopping center.
Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in office space, common areas, restrooms, and stock rooms.
Replenish supplies in restrooms and common areas as needed.
Efficiently manage and operate a cleaning cart for transporting supplies.
Disinfect frequently touched surfaces, including wiping down all tables and chairs to promote hygiene.
Collect and properly dispose of trash from designated areas, including lifting trash from bins and transporting it as needed.
Utilize a golf cart for navigating and maintaining the property.
-Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Must pass prescreen check.
Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred. Willingness to train.
Valid Hawaii Driver's License preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
Good communication in English and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
Capable of performing tasks in any type of weather.
Physically capable of carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 25 pounds to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks such as stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing and pressing.
