Job description

Northwest Permanente (NWP) is the largest multispecialty medical group in Oregon and southwest Washington with 1,500+ physicians and 300+ administrative professionals caring for 615,000+ Kaiser Permanente members. Northwest Permanente is owned and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 50+ specialties.

We invite applications for a Board Certified or Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing medical group at the Kaiser Mt. Scott medical office in Portland, OR. Our ideal candidate will have completed a Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship and will provide high-quality, comprehensive care to our members. You will join an integrated and compassionate team of physicians and supportive clinical and administrative staff. We use a combination of face-to-face care and the latest virtual modalities to provide evidence-based, psychiatric treatments, including primary care/ medical specialties consultations, crisis interventions and medication consultation.

What You Can Expect:

  • Provide care for adult patients with a focus on geriatric psychiatry

  • Flexible to provide care for 25-100% geriatrics patient population

  • Flexible to see patients in clinic up to 4 days per week

  • 4-day work week

  • No Call required

  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility

Minimum Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Adult Psychiatry

  • Board Certified or Eligible Geriatric Psychiatry

The annual salary for this position is $258,030-$283,590 for a .90 FTE, which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, NWP offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
