Job description

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for supporting KAG Logistic Operations by gathering carrier paperwork and accurately billing our customers. The Specialist is responsible auditing and administering carrier pickup and delivery information in order to accurately complete required in-house and/or external systems that are used to complete established financial settlement processes and procedures between KAG Logistics customers and carriers. Position will report directly to the Lead Logistics Operations Support Specialist.

Essential Functions

  • Provide timely and accurate order delivery information to our external customers from carrier documents. This requires use internal systems and at times, customer systems, in order to confirm and complete delivery requirements. All systems require accurate loading and unloading information. This information provided by the Specialist will drive payment to KAGL.
  • Monitor carrier compliance in submitting delivery paperwork within the required timetable. Specialist will also determine if all information is filled out appropriately and all required fields are filled in within our internal systems.
  • Maintain frequent professional communication with both internal and external parties to ensure information entered into the system is complete and accurate.
  • The Specialist will have routine interaction with carriers and customers. Communications and customer service skills are essential in this position. Most commonly, this interaction is paperwork requests or questions from carriers.
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met. This includes month end close internal deadlines, as well as external month end deadlines, as established by our customers.
  • Accurately and efficiently index delivery paperwork.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer/Excel skills
