Job description

Full-time ERP Operations Analyst/Trainer needed in Bethel, CT with a large, rapidly global medical device manufacturing company. This company has grown 20% over the last 6 years (43% in 2025), Excellent benefits. Manufacturing experience required, ERP system experience required. Previous Warehouse Managers, Buyers, Planners with strong ERP experience are encouraged to apply. Please note this position is 100% on-site due to the nature of the role, 1-on-1 training on the floor, etc.. This client is willing to relocate qualified candidates.


Overview

ERP Operations Analyst/Trainer will play an integral role in the implementation of ERP systems and optimizing our operational processes and driving efficiency. The analyst will be the subject matter expert for operations process in EPICOR and be responsible for training and supporting users across the company in best practices and in the use of ERP systems. This position involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, developing solutions, and collaborating with various teams to implement changes. This role will require travel to other facilities.


Responsibilities

Develop and recommend solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.

Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including operations teams, inventory control and shipping/receiving, to understand their needs and ensure alignment on proposed solutions.

Conduct detailed analysis of existing operational processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.

Build strong relationships and facilitate communication across teams.

Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to address operational challenges.

Support the testing and training phases of implementation.

Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement within operational processes.

Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Participate in ERP integrations, enhancements and upgrades.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational processes, procedures, and system configurations.

Define, configure, test, and deploy best practice solutions for production, MES, labeling, purchasing, planning, inventory control, material storage, and other manufacturing tools.

Propose program changes/fixes for existing reports and dashboards.

Apply LEAN concepts to production activities to support demand driven.

Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

7+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.

5+ years in a manufacturing or inventory control, managerial role.

Knowledge of lean tools such as 5S, Visual Factory, value stream mapping, production smoothing, line balance.

Demonstrated experience with FDA/GMP or ISO 13485 requirements.

Manage project constraints and risks. Ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks, changing priorities, and frequently conflicting demands.

Proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes.

Ability to determine priorities and handle multiple tasks.

ERP system experience required.


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Epicor/QAD experience.


Physical Demands

Overnight travel is required.
