Job description

Full-time, full benefits, 1st Shift Maintenance Mechanics needed in Taunton, MA. 4 positions open due to an acquisition. Weekdays hours, Monday-Friday 7A-3:30P, $28-$32 per hour. Weekends 12.5 hour day Friday, Saturday and Sunday $28-$32 with a 15% shift differential.


Responsibilities

This position requires a self-starter who can work independently with a wide variety of equipment in an ISO 9000 environment.

In this role, the individual will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and perform preventive maintenance (PM) tasks in a highly automated chemical manufacturing environment.

The equipment the candidate will be working on will include:

Reactors, Filters and drying ovens.

Chillers, air compressors, boilers and pumps

HVAC units, cooling towers and heat exchangers


Qualifications

Education High School diploma - minimum

Technical trade School trade degree is a plus


Experience:

Minimum of 3 years previous experience in repair and maintenance required

Basic pipe fitting experience


Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude

Basic computer skills

Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures and documentation

Ability to learn new processes

Excellent communication skills
