Job description

BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for a Jr. Front-End Web Developer to work for an Orange County area biomedical products company.

Contract: 6-12 months (with possibility of converting to FTE based on performance)
Pay Rate: $30-40/hour DOE

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in and contribute to agile web development process
  • Implement responsive web design and development in a Shopify theme
  • Develop and/or maintain various APIs
  • Develop custom solutions and site features in a fun, fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong understanding of Front-End technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap 4
  • Knowledge and/or experience with:
    • Code versioning tools, such as Git or TFS
    • Responsive Design best practices
    • E-Commerce platforms, including Shopify and Liquid
    • React, Angular, Vue or other JavaScript frameworks
    • RESTful web services via the HTTP protocol and JSON
  • A passion for high quality UX and attention to detail
