In this Role, you will serve as the leader of the Boys basketball program, responsible for building a Christ-centered, competitive, and development-focused team culture. This role plays a critical part in shaping student-athletes in character, faith, and skill while establishing a strong foundation for the South Campus athletic program.
Coaching & Program Leadership
  • Build and lead a Christ-centered basketball program aligned to Aug Prep's mission and values
  • Model servant leadership through humility, encouragement, and integrity
  • Develop a year-round vision including in-season and off-season programming, training, and team culture
  • Lead all practices, games, and team functions with structure and purpose
  • Create a positive, disciplined, and growth-oriented team environment

Athletic Development & Training
  • Plan and implement comprehensive training focused on skill development, team tactics, conditioning, and mental toughness
  • Teach fundamental and advanced basketball skills with attention to individual athlete growth
  • Support holistic athlete development including leadership, accountability, and resilience
  • Collaborate with strength and conditioning staff as needed

Team & Culture Management
  • Build strong relationships with student-athletes, families, staff, and the broader school community
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with all stakeholders
  • Establish team expectations that reflect integrity, perseverance, courage, and respect
  • Create team-building opportunities that reinforce culture and unity

Operations, Compliance & Collaboration
  • Ensure all athletes meet academic, behavioral, and eligibility standards
  • Maintain compliance with WIAA, conference, and school policies
  • Coordinate with the Athletic Department on scheduling, transportation, and facilities
  • Manage equipment, uniforms, and inventory responsibly
