Job description

Job Title: UIPath Power Automate Architect (UiPath Migration Expertise) Location: Austin, TX onsite (all 5 days onsite) Experience Level: 10+ years (Hands-on) About the Role Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Automate Developer with deep expertise in UiPath and a strong RPA (Robotic Process Automation) background. This role is ideal for a hands-on automation professional who has successfully delivered complex workflow automation solutions, particularly involving UiPath-to-Power Automate transitions or coexistence across both platforms. You will design, develop, and optimize automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, streamline repetitive processes, and improve business agility.

Key Responsibilities Architect, build, and maintain end-to-end automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop). Lead and support migrations or integrations from UiPath to Power Automate, ensuring functional and process continuity. Collaborate with business teams to identify process automation opportunities and translate them into technical requirements.

Develop reusable components, connectors, and templates aligned with enterprise automation standards. Ensure best practices in security, exception handling, logging, and governance across workflows. Conduct code and design reviews to maintain solution quality and compliance with internal IT and data governance policies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process owners, solution architects, and platform administrators. Provide technical mentorship and guide junior developers on automation best practices. Required Qualifications 10+ years of total IT experience with at least 5+ years in RPA development and automation delivery.

Proven hands-on experience with both UiPath Studio/Orchestrator and Power Automate (Flow, Desktop, Power Apps integration). Strong understanding of RPA architecture, automation lifecycle, and workflow orchestration. Experience migrating use cases, components, or frameworks from UiPath to Power Automate or vice versa.

Deep familiarity with API integration, data connectors, AI Builder, adaptive cards, and Power Platform ecosystem. Strong scripting and debugging skills using VB.NET, Python, or JavaScript. Expertise in error handling, logging frameworks, secure credential management, and governance models for enterprise-scale automation.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to work in a collaborative environment. Preferred Skills Prior experience implementing automation in financial services, investment management, or operations domains. Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Power BI integration scenarios.

Familiarity with Azure cloud services such as Logic Apps, Key Vault, and Azure AD for automation deployment. UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate certifications.
