Main Accountabilities:
Process:
Perform necessary activities for the month end close of the Accounting Center, including preparation of various journal entries, preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and calculation and recording of monthly entries as necessary
Perform analysis of accounts and generate entries as necessary
Apply  Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, Group Accounting standards, and local GAAP compliance and compliance with Group Charter
Comply with and help to achieve strong Internal Control over Financial Reporting and General Accounting
Commit to improve processes a culture of learning
Customer:
Meet commitments and deliver high quality services to business partners
Commit to and deliver professional ownership of service levels
Commit to customer focus and customer satisfaction to ensure business partners are provided the service levels agreed
Identify best practices and communicate them to management
Team:
Participate in special projects as necessary to support the General Accounting and Reporting departments
Contribute to team spirit and ownership of processes
Contribute to development and training of junior staff
Support and participate in safety, compliance, business ethics, Group Charter, communications and other related activities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
3 plus years of experience in accounting
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field (equivalent work experience may be considered).
Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to build effective working relationships with all stakeholders
SAP, or similar ERP knowledge
Strong English written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of reporting structure including reporting units, business units, product groups, trading partners, and partner profit center
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in shared service industry preferred.
