Job Description:
The Junior Release Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases across development, QA, and operations teams. This role ensures timely, high-quality releases while following established release and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and scheduling software releases across environments (dev, QA, staging, production).
Coordinate with developers, testers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure release readiness.
Maintain release calendars, documentation, and version tracking.
Support build, deployment, and rollback activities.
Monitor release progress and resolve basic issues or escalate when needed.
Ensure compliance with change management and quality standards.
Participate in release meetings, post-release reviews, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
0-2 years experience in software development, QA, DevOps, or release coordination.
Basic understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.
