Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior SDET / IT Software Engineer 4 to extend and strengthen our automation framework. This role will focus on test automation, API testing, automation framework development, CI/CD integration, and performance testing. The position is onsite hybrid from Day 1, with no 100% remote option. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate independently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in Acceptance Criteria (AC) calls, document scope, and validate solutions.
• Ensure automation tooling remains intact when changes are introduced.
• Develop test automation code for CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, develop, and maintain API test automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks across multiple applications and projects.
• Perform scenario-based performance testing.
• Mentor test engineers across multiple applications and projects.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and cross-functional teams to support quality engineering initiatives.
• Document test strategies, automation solutions, and technical processes.
Required Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience with Java as a core automation language.
• 3-5 years of experience with Cucumber/BDD.
• Hands-on experience with the Karate framework.
• 3-5 years of strong testing experience with Web Services and REST APIs.
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing automation frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with JMeter and scenario-based performance testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in complex environments.
• Proactive, flexible, and creative approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience with Apigee and API gateways.
