Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Type: Direct Hire
Work Location: Hybrid position in Wichita Falls, TX
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee large-scale, complex, and high visibility projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Serve as the strategic project lead, shaping project direction, alignment, and execution in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, procurement strategies, and resource models for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Direct and mentor project teams, including internal staff, junior project managers, and external stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance.
  • Coordinate and negotiate with senior-level internal stakeholders and third party vendors to allocate resources and optimize project outcomes.
  • Drive advanced change management, managing and approving modifications to scope, schedule, and budget using formal project controls.
  • Evaluate and report on project performance using advanced tools, dashboards, and KPIs; provide executive-ready updates, escalations, and recommendations.
  • Conduct deep dive risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve issues that could impact project success.
  • Build, strengthen, and manage long term relationships with clients, vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of all project documentation, including executive summaries, financial updates, and compliance materials.
  • Lead client meetings, gather requirements, provide consultative guidance, and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Guide the delegation of tasks and responsibilities based on team members' experience, strengths, and professional development goals.
  • Monitor and track project performance to evaluate successful completion of short term objectives and long term strategic goals.
  • Act as a thought leader by promoting continuous improvement, developing best practices, and advancing project delivery methodologies across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project management, including leadership of complex or multi phase projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior leadership, clients, and cross functional teams.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive level communication skills.
  • Highly developed organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven expertise in managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and risk at a senior level.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software.

Big Bonus Points if you Have:
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale, multi disciplinary projects.
  • Strong mastery of formal project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Lean, etc.).
  • Experience overseeing multiple project managers or leading project teams across multiple sites.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Microsoft Suite, Primavera P6, Oracle, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, or similar).
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $120,000 - $135,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
