Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Research, design, code, test, deploy, and maintain custom applications supporting mission-critical workflows and enterprise data integration.
  • Agile Execution: Actively participate in SAFe/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives) using Jira and Confluence to track progress and identify technical risks.
  • DevSecOps & Delivery: Build, test, and deploy applications using continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across data-center and on-premises environments.
  • Quality & Security: Write clean, testable code, develop automated unit/integration test suites, maintain robust application monitoring, and strictly adhere to security standards.
  • Data & Systems Integration: Connect software solutions with enterprise databases, geospatial engines, and agency-specific workflows while maintaining thorough technical documentation.
Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility for a CI Polygraph.
  • Citizenship: US Citizenship Required
  • Experience & Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics (or equivalent experience/training) plus 5+ years of progressive software development experience.
  • Core Languages: Advanced proficiency in at least one modern language (Python, Java, JavaScript, React, or .NET).
  • Containerization & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and pipeline automation tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus).
  • Data & Infrastructure: Proven experience with SQL/enterprise data stores and deploying software within on-premises data-center environments.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Helm, or Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Familiarity with AWS/cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Direct experience with geospatial technologies (ArcGIS, MAPINFO) or NGA/GEOINT intelligence community workflows.
  • Proficiency with search platforms like Elasticsearch and UI/UX design (HTML/CSS/Sass/Less).
