Job description

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement complex software applications and systems. Lead the clean-sheet architecture and development of system-level software from high-level requirements. Develop and deploy efficient, secure, and scalable REST web services in Python and/or C++. Conduct full-cycle software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, integration, and documentation. Evaluate and implement interfaces between hardware and software systems. Support system deployment and ensure compliance with software and security standards. Research, design, and manage software programs and improvements to existing systems. Perform testing, debugging, and maintenance of system corrections. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with security and data integrity requirements. Work independently with minimal supervision and communicate progress effectively with project stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in software design and development. Active Secret Clearance (or higher). 8+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Software Design and Development. 5+ years of experience in Software Architecture. 5+ years of experience developing REST web services using Python and/or C++. 5+ years of experience in Hardware and Software Integration. 10+ years working on Linux and Windows operating systems. Experience leading architecture and development of complex system software from initial requirements. Strong communication skills and ability to report results clearly. Basic familiarity with image processing techniques.
