Responsibilities
The Associate Management Product Suite is seeking a Software Engineer (AWS /Javascript) to help modernize how State Farm manages relationships between associates, agents, and products/policy agreements across the Enterprise.
You'll work on the Associate to Product Agreement Relationships (APAR) product and collaborate with teams across Personal Lines Modernization, Business Lines Modernization, Life Modernization, Health, Investment Planning Services, Bank and other Alliance products. This role will build and integrate modern AWS-based solutions, work with event-driven architectures and APIs, and participate in the migration of enterprise data from on-premises PostgreSQL to AWS.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of several Enterprise modernization initiatives, and work on technology that spans multiple areas while helping move critical capabilities to modern AWS-based solutions.
What You'll Do
As a member of the product team, some responsiblitilites may include:
  • Design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise solutions running on AWS.
  • Build capabilities supporting Associate to Product Agreement Relationships across multiple business areas.
  • Develop and integrate APIs, AWS Lambda functions, and event-driven solutions.
  • Participate in the migration of data and applications from on-premises environments to AWS.
  • Design and implement stories from a prioritized Agile backlog.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams across multiple modernization initiatives.
  • Apply software engineering practices including automated testing and Continuous Integration.
  • Contribute to application and data design decisions.

  • Potential starting salary range: $97,000 - $135,000
