Kestra Financial is undergoing a multi-year transformation to modernize and scale its Salesforce ecosystem across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Marketing Cloud, and AI-enabled capabilities. We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to design, configure, and build scalable solutions that power Kestra's enterprise transformation goals. This role combines advanced development expertise with strong configuration skills to deliver high-quality features and integrations. The Senior Developer will work closely with both the Technical Architect and Solution Architect to ensure adherence to design standards and best practices, while collaborating with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to optimize business outcomes.
What you'll Do:
  • Develop high-quality, reusable code using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
  • Configure Salesforce declarative features, including page layouts, record types, validation rules, custom metadata, and automation tools.
  • Implement complex business logic using a combination of declarative and programmatic approaches.
  • Work closely with the Technical Architect and Solution Architect to ensure solutions adhere to technical design, scalability, and security standards.
  • Participate in design and solutioning sessions to validate architecture and technical feasibility.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Solution Architect to clarify requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
  • Execute data migrations and transformations using Data Loader or third-party tools.
  • Support Salesforce DevOps pipelines, including version control (Git), CI/CD automation, and automated testing.
  • Conduct peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.
  • Monitor and optimize platform performance, security, and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with Salesforce governance, data quality, and sharing rules.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and admins.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, including AI-driven features, automation, and workflow intelligence.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, emerging technologies, and best practices.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong skills in Apex, LWC, Flows, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Proven experience with declarative configuration and customization.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
  • Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; Financial Services Cloud preferred.
  • Experience building Agentforce agents. Data 360 experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, and governor limits.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Financial Services or Wealth Management industry experience is a plus.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I required.
  • Salesforce Administrator required.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II or other advanced certifications preferred.
