What is the opportunity?

As a Staff Engineer on the Freestyle team, you will be a key technical leader responsible for shaping the architecture and design of Freestyle Orchestrator-Workspace ONE UEM's low-code, cross-platform automation and workflow
engine. This platform enables IT administrators to automate complex device management tasks, orchestrate application and profile deployments, and enforce compliance across diverse device fleets (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux,
and VDI/Horizon environments). You will lead critical design initiatives, mentor engineers across the team, and ensure technical excellence in building a scalable, reliable, and secure orchestration framework. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence engineering decisions across multiple teams. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and senior engineers to deliver impactful solutions that advance Workspace ONE's "Autonomous Workspace" vision. Here's a breakdown:
Technical Leadership & Design

  • Own and drive the architecture and design of major components within Freestyle Orchestrator.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term product strategy.
  • Conduct design reviews, provide technical guidance, and set best practices for coding and architecture.


Mentorship & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers and technical leads to align on priorities and technical direction.


Problem Solving & Innovation

  • Tackle complex technical challenges related to orchestration, workflow execution, and cross-platform integration.

Compensation: The typical base salary for this role is betweenUSD $164,512- $274,187 per year and it may be eligible for participation in a corporate bonus program.
