Job description

We are seeking a Junior Quantitative Trader to join our Chicago office. This role focuses on quantitative research, model development, and supporting trading strategy execution in a live sports-driven environment.
This position is ideal for an early-career quantitative candidate who is excited to work directly with traders and developers while gaining hands-on exposure to live trading systems.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in building and maintaining predictive models and trading strategies
  • Conduct quantitative research using statistical techniques
  • Support development and maintenance of automated trading systems
  • Monitor model performance and assist with testing, validation, and deployment
  • Collaborate with traders and developers to improve systems and workflows
  • Support operational and production tasks tied to live trading
  • Work evenings and weekends during active sports schedules
Required Skills
  • 0–2 years of experience in a quantitative or analytical role
  • Proficiency in R, Python, and/or SQL
  • Familiarity with regression and foundational statistical modeling techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to contribute to operational and production support
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends aligned with sports schedules
