Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Boca Raton, FL that is seeking a Senior Project Leader. This role drives delivery of complex, cross-functional technology and business initiatives, aligning teams and partners to execute high-impact solutions from strategy through implementation and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects (scope, schedule, budget, resources)
* Develop and manage project plans, milestones, and critical paths
* Monitor execution; proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
* Apply strong critical thinking to assess trade-offs, solve problems, and drive decisions
* Partner with business stakeholders to define business cases, quantify ROI, and align initiatives to strategic objectives
* Align cross-functional teams and third-party partners to deliver against objectives
* Provide clear, concise executive reporting, status updates, and presentations
* Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and governance
* Adjust plans and resources to meet evolving business priorities
* Escalate risks, quality concerns, and timeline impacts as needed
* Support Program Managers in strategic planning and prioritization
* Mentor junior project managers and support multi-phase initiatives
* Act as liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams
* Additional: Up to 10% travel
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Certifications (preferred): PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, CAPM, SAFe
* 8-10 years of experience in project/program management
* Leadership of large, cross-functional initiatives
* Concurrent management of multiple projects
* Strong stakeholder management and executive communication
* Strategic thinking with hands-on execution
* Advanced PM methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, Kanban, etc.)
* Working knowledge of SDLC and product delivery
* Risk management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making
* Change management fundamentals
* Experience leveraging AI/tools to optimize delivery
* Successful delivery of IT/technical and business initiatives
* Cross-functional leadership (e.g., Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales)
* Experience in large corporate environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
