Security Systems Junior Project Manager

Onsite | Full Time | $80,000 - $95,000

Superior Communication Services is hiring a Security Systems Project Manager.

If you're coming from the field or already managing projects hands-on, we're open to different backgrounds. We're happy to provide management training if you bring solid experience and a willingness to learn.

You'll support our Senior Project Managers and take an active role in day-to-day field operations, helping coordinate teams and keep commercial security projects moving smoothly by:

  • Lead the Field: Support and guide security technicians in the field, helping them grow into strong Foremen and site leads.
  • Run the Day to Day: Keep commercial security projects moving by tracking schedules, budgets, and onsite progress.
  • Own the Technical Side: Oversee Access Control and CCTV installs from roughin through programming, testing, and closeout.
  • Be the Connector: Work directly with Senior PMs, GCs, and field teams to solve issues as they come up and keep jobs on track.

Since this role supports Senior PMs and active jobsites, we're looking for someone with 5+ years of solid, realworld security systems experience (access control, cctv, etc.) who's comfortable taking the lead.

Requirements

Required:

  • 5+ years of hands-on commercial low-voltage security experience.
  • 1-2+ years in a Lead Tech, Foreman, or Supervisory role.
  • Systems Expertise: Deep knowledge of enterprise Access Control (controllers, strikes, maglocks) and IP CCTV.
  • Technical Setup: Experience with back-end integration/programming of platforms like Avigilon, Lenel, or Genetec.
  • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read construction plans, risers, and hardware schedules.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Verkada, Genetec, or Axis.
  • Certifications: BICSI, NICET, or OSHA 30.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
