The ideal candidate has a proven background delivering commercial construction projects, excels at coordinating field and office operations, and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and cost forecasts.
  • Oversee project financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, subcontractor management, and change order tracking.
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and ongoing coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners, and consultants to keep projects progressing on schedule.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and company leadership.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining quality, safety, and contract compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through successful project execution and communication.
  • Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final completion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Experience managing commercial, corporate, healthcare, institutional, life sciences, higher education, or multifamily projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor management, and project financials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
  • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial general contractor experience is required; residential-only construction project management experience is not sufficient for this role.

Benefits

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.

Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, and other company-sponsored programs.
