Position Summary

PMA Consultants is seeking a skilled, proactive, and client-focused Junior Systems Administrator to support Project Controls for capital programs through the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of project management information systems. Working under the direction of the PMWeb Senior Administrator, this role plays a key part in supporting project teams by ensuring PMWeb operates efficiently and effectively across multiple projects.

The Junior Systems Administrator will help administer and enhance PMWeb, support end users, resolve help desk requests, configure system workflows, and contribute to process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and committed to delivering exceptional client service while helping ensure system performance, data integrity, and operational efficiency align with project and business objectives.

Organizational Responsibilities
  • Administer, configure, and maintain PMWeb modules, including Cost, Schedule, Forms, and Workflows.
  • Support user account setup, permissions, project structures, and system administration activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets, system issues, and end-user questions in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine system audits to help ensure data accuracy, compliance, and integrity.
  • Assist with system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and integrations in collaboration with senior administrators, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of platform enhancements and process improvements.
  • Assist in analyzing business processes and aligning PMIS functionality with project requirements.
  • Participate in business requirements gathering, system configuration, and workflow development.
  • Support data migration efforts, system testing, and validation activities.
  • Maintain system configuration documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and update training materials and assist with end-user onboarding and training.
  • Gather user feedback, track enhancement requests, and support change management activities.
  • Build strong working relationships with project teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate system updates to technical and non-technical users.
  • Support Project Controls teams by ensuring PMIS solutions align with project and business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of, or as a supplement to, the education requirement. 
  • 0+ years of experience supporting PMWeb or a similar Project Management Information System (PMIS).
  • Understanding of project controls, project accounting, and/or construction capital program management.
  • Experience with reporting and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
  • Experience supporting capital projects or capital programs is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data management principles is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $ 70,954 - $83,371. 

A hired employee will be placed within this salary range based on a variety of legitimate business reasons, including but not limited to the individual’s scope of relevant experience and geographic location.

Additional Requirements
 
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
 
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
