ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF): Business Analytics Senior Associate with 5+ years of experience in consumer lending, credit risk, and decision strategy development. Proven ability to design, build, test, and implement credit decisioning solutions across consumer lending products including deposits, cards, and loans. Strong collaborator with expertise in translating business requirements into actionable strategies, delivering insights through data visualization, and driving process improvements. Adept at mentoring junior analysts and partnering with stakeholders to optimize credit performance and customer outcomes.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Designed and implemented credit decision strategies within enterprise decision engines for consumer lending products (cards, unsecured/secured loans, deposits).

  • Evaluated business processes, elicited requirements, and developed detailed test scenarios to ensure solution accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Built and maintained comprehensive documentation, including procedures and process flows for credit strategies and decisioning systems.

  • Developed and delivered executive-level presentations and data visualizations to communicate key insights and recommendations.

  • Led cross-functional discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners to align on strategy design and implementation.

  • Analyzed credit bureau and risk data to support decisioning strategies and optimize portfolio performance.

  • Identified business needs proactively and recommended data-driven process improvements.

  • Reviewed and validated work of junior analysts, providing mentorship, feedback, and technical guidance.

  • Strong knowledge of consumer lending regulations (e.g. Reg Z, FCRA, ECOA, etc.).

  • Ensured compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards in all analytics and decisioning activities.

  • Experience engaging with regulators, 2LOD partners, and Internal Audit to effectively support internal and external exams and audits focused on credit decision outcomes.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
